We know it takes a heavy investment of time,
money and effort to train new employees. A growing number of employers have
found a way to ease the burden by taking advantage of our On-the-Job
Training (OJT) program. In fact, by combining OJT with tax credits and other
incentives, many employers have drastically reduced the cost of developing
and maintaining a trained workforce.
By participating in the OJT program, you can be
reimbursed for up to 50% of the trainee’s wages. You hire the trainee(s) and
train them for a permanent position. OJT contracts are individually negotiated,
the length of training determined by the job’s complexity and the trainee’s
experience. You are expected to retain those trainees who successfully complete
the program. Paperwork is kept to a minimum. You are only required to maintain
normal payroll records.
