Recruitment, Selection, Retention:

Our professional representatives can assist you with recruiting, selecting and retaining workers. Our premises are available for recruiting and selecting workers. You may reserve one of our multi-purpose rooms to interview, test or orient workers for your business. We are available to advertise your job openings and notify any of the 4,000 workers in our database who fit your specifications. We have access to workers throughout the Hudson Valley with a variety of skill levels and training. At your request, our representatives will screen prospective candidates for your openings. Or you may wish to have your openings listed without our screening and perform your own review of candidates qualifications.

If your business has concerns, or needs information, about high turnover, employer taxes, pending layoffs, personnel policies, or any other issue regarding your workforce, we can provide a human resources consultant to review your concern and suggest options that may benefit your business financially and productively. In addition, our representative can obtain or refer you to appropriate sources for assistance regarding labor law, labor market information, occupational trends and training.

We serve businesses across a wide variety of industries and occupations.

Our specialized Rural/Farm Services Unit can help minimize paper work needed to recruit farm workers from other states and to register farm labor contractors. We provide you with information on labor market conditions, employment trends, agricultural laws, youth permits and government incentives. Farmers and growers who face critical shortages of seasonal labor may apply to the Rural Employment Service for admission to the U.S. Department of Labor’s "Agricultural Recruitment System."
