The Ulster County Workforce Development OneStop Job Center brings employment, training,
education, economic development and related services to Ulster County residents and
businesses in a convenient and accessible manner. Our services are coordinated and
consolidated in one central location, accessible by phone, Internet or personal
visit.
Our
Full-Service OneStop Job Center is located at 601 Development Court in the Business
Resource Center on Ulster Avenue in Kingston (Map
& directions). Telephone (845) 338-4696. We are open Monday through Friday
between 8:30 a.m. and 5 p.m., except holidays. You may also access some services at our OneStop satellite sites.
A Disability Program Navigator is
available at the OneStop Center to assist individuals with
disabilities to plan for a job. There is access to a computer
equipped with specialized hardware as well as JAWS Pro Screen Reader
as well as Zoom Text applications. The Disability Navigator will
also endeavor to provide information pertaining to services offered by
local agencies and organizations that may prove helpful to the

- Orientation to the OneStop Job Center
- Assessment of skill levels, aptitudes, and support service
needs
- Job search and placement assistance, including career
counseling
- Use of computers with Internet access, faxes, telephones,
copiers, career library
- Workshops on Job Search/Interviewing Skills, and
Resume Writing
- Information on filing unemployment insurance claims, job
openings, careers, labor laws, the labor market and training programs
- Information on, and referrals to, local programs, services
and resources
- Determination of eligibility for job training, education
programs or financial aid
- Information on how Ulster County is performing on local
performance measures
- Follow-up services, for 12 months, for registrants after
entering employment
